I actually saw this painting in the Monet exhibit in Chicago a few years back and it is absolutely stunning in person. The snow actually glows, magically! Copies just don't do it justice.
This is my favorite Monet. I too have seen it and like Williow said there is no way to to the painting justice with any type of photographic or printed image. It's spectacular. Most people think of Monet only in terms of his florals. This is a scene in Norway, I believe.
